The Baltimore Ravens and tight finish Nick Boyle have agreed on a brand new three-year contract, a supply advised ESPN’s Dan Graziano on Thursday. The deal is price $18 million, sources advised ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Boyle had been eligible for unrestricted free company subsequent week. A fifth-round decide (171st total) in 2015, Boyle was a greater receiver than his numbers would point out. Final season he caught 23 passes for a career-best 214 yards and graded out because the fourth-best tight finish within the AFC North.
Boyle’s first two seasons have been full of off-field issues. He was suspended twice for utilizing performance-enhancing medication, sidelining him for a complete of 14 video games. That prompted coach John Harbaugh to say Boyle wouldn’t be with the crew if he continued to “double down on dumb.”
Boyle stayed out of hassle in his final two seasons and missed just one recreation. His 624 snaps final season have been 229 greater than every other tight finish on the Ravens roster.
