Obed McCoy added to Windies T20I squad

Obed McCoy, the 22-year-old left-arm pacer, has been included within the Windies squad for the rest of the T20I sequence in opposition to England. McCoy will be part of the squad in St. Kitts, the place Windies play the final two T20Is on Friday (March eight) and Sunday (March 10).

McCoy, who made his ODI debut in October 2018 within the sequence in opposition to India, picked up 4 wickets. McCoy had earlier give you spectacular performances within the World T20 Canada and the Caribbean Premier League.

McCoy’s inclusion for the remaining two T20Is in opposition to England comes within the wake of Andre Russell’s withdrawal from the sequence “because of an opposed response he needed to a medical process achieved in Dubai earlier than he flew to the Caribbean,” based on the CWI medical panel.
