Former NBA All-Star Kenny Anderson suffers stroke

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Former NBA All-Star Kenny Anderson has suffered a stroke.

The 48-year-old Anderson just lately accomplished his first season teaching NAIA program Fisk College in Nashville. Fisk stated in an announcement Tuesday that the college group extends its “ideas and prayers” to Anderson and his household.

Anderson’s spouse, Natasha Anderson, stated in an announcement that the household is “extraordinarily grateful for all of the prayers and love that we now have acquired over the previous few days.” She added that “we recognize you persevering with to respect our privateness as Kenny heals.”

Neither assertion supplied extra particulars. A household spokeswoman, Lina Catalfamo Plath, confirmed that Anderson had a stroke.

Anderson performed for a number of NBA groups from 1991-2005. He was named an All-Star in 1994 whereas enjoying for the New Jersey Nets, who chosen him out of Georgia Tech with the No. 2 general decide within the 1991 draft.
