Cities held out vs. Knicks for ‘precaution’ after proper knee damage

After exiting Saturday’s sport in Washington with a non-contact proper knee damage, Minnesota Timberwolves heart Karl-Anthony Cities is being held out of Sunday’s sport towards the New York Knicks.

Karl-Anthony Cities shall be held out of tonight’s sport as a precaution attributable to proper knee irritation. 

Cities joins Andrew Wiggins (left quad contusion), Luol Deng (sore left achilles) and Robert Covington (proper knee bone bruise) on the staff’s inactive record.

Previous to the damage, Cities had posted 40 factors and 16 rebounds in what ended up a 135-130 time beyond regulation victory vs. the Wizards. On the season, Cities is averaging 24.5 factors, 12.Three rebounds, Three.Three assists and 1.7 blocks in 33.2 minutes per sport, capturing a career-best 40.5 p.c on a career-high four.eight Three-point makes an attempt. He earned his second All-Star look in February.
