Rodgers offers his clarification

New Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers has opened up on his controversial Celtic departure halfway by the present marketing campaign.

Claude Puel was sacked by Leicester after the embarrassing Four-1 loss to Crystal Palace just below per week in the past.

The Frenchman had didn’t impress followers with no wins in his last seven video games together with six losses.

Shortly after it was introduced Puel had been sacked, it emerged that Brendan Rodgers was the goal.

Now, Rodgers has responded to that offended response.

The previous Liverpool boss defined that the Leicester job was not going to attend for him and it was just too good to show down.

“If I used to be making the choice with my coronary heart I might be at Celtic for all times,” he defined, as quoted by the Mirror. 

“It’s an unbelievable soccer membership I’ve supported all my life.

“I’ve household who’re deeply upset however I used to be introduced with a possibility that got here to me and needed to take away that emotion.

“I perceive the timing situation as a result of if there was a really perfect time it will have been in the summertime, completely.

“This was a possibility which arose and I had a call I needed to make in a short time.

“I imagine this chance wasn’t going to attend for me.

“This was a possibility I felt was too good to show down and I’m very blissful I made the transfer.”
